View the 2025 event route

The 2025 Yukon Fat Tire Fever event route was about 50 km in total length. The half-way (transfer) point was at the Copperbelt Railway and Mining Museum where an aid station was loaded with snacks and beverages. If you were on a 2-person team, the second rider waited here.

Solo category

Participants in the solo category will ride 1 lap of the route by themselves. You must complete a full lap to get a result.

Two-person teams

As a two-person team, each rider is required to complete half of the route. Only one of the two riders will be on the course at a time, meaning you won't ride it together. Instead, you complete them as a relay.

You will not be able to start the next half of the course until your teammate has completed the previous section. At the designated transfer point, high five each other and see your partner off.

Each rider will have at least one timed uphill and downhill section in their half. There may even be more!

When you check in and pick up your bike plate on the morning of the event, let us know who is riding which half.

Timing sensors

Each rider will get their own timing sensor to carry from start to finish.

Don't lose your timing sensor! If you finish the event without your timing sensor, you will be disqualified and charged a lost timing sensor fee of $500.

Bike choice

Solo riders must use the same bike, start to finish. Teams can share a bike if needed.

There can be no switching of parts, or modifying of parts during the event to optimize uphill or downhill radicalness.

Choose your bike wisely! A bike that climbs efficiently, descends with precision and can handle a high-speed beat down will be ideal.
